Corbeau Harness Install

I'm trying to install my 4-point Corbeau bolt-in harnesses into the circled location under my rear seat, but I can't get these freaking bolts off! Any ideas/suggestions?

i was always under the impression that you mount the shoulder straps higher than your shoulders?

Your height and seat will make it safe or not safe. So yes, I would consider it a gray area.

If you mount incorrectly you run the risk of using the force of your body against you and compressing your spin in an accident.

Yeah, I know its not technically safe/correct but it is what it is.

I got the driver's side bolts off but I broke 3 torx bits on the 2 passenger side bolts. Kuro, any suggestions on how to get those bolts out easier without snapping any more bits?

Lowes or even Walmart have those mini Torches with the tank/nosil attached.

Yeah no kidding. I was worrying about stripping the bolts, but I guess I'm lucky my torx bits were cheap and just snapped before I ruined the bolts. The driver's side came off easily, but the passenger side isn't budging.

OK, since I haven't done that before, do I heat around the bolt like on the body of the car?

Hook the torx bit to an impact gun!! Heating it DOES help!!

Heat the bolt up. 6" back or so and just heat it up for a few seconds, should come out fairly easily.

Do it (half) right with a removable harness bar.
