Well, we went back to the drawing board a bit. We didn't like how the wastegate on that side had to be placed because of the oil fill. So we are going to make a custom one and put the wastegate exactly how we want it.

Here is a mock up from today, let me know what you think.

Ken that looks awesome. I don't think backpressure will be much of an issue there! LMAO. That thing is going to be bad.

Thanks. Getting super excited about it, I can't sleep. We have to make a small tweak to the other manifold because I don't like how close it is to the head. Then Jake can do the other wastegate.

It will be nice to finally have the hotside done!

All of it haha For the wastegate dump and just the hotside/coldside piping in general...Reason I ask is I had a hay day finding thin GA steel here in town and was just curious...All I could find is thick heavy stuff at muffler shops...Finally ended up ordering some from a steel supplier but still coudnt get as thin as I wanted...

Wanna trade it for a Whipple 2.9L?

Hahaha!

Looks like a work of art! Your attention to detail looks to be paying off!

Can't wait to see the finished result!

Are those MVS or MVR wastegates? I run the MVR on my setup and it works great. Do you plan to use the water-cooled feature or just plug the holes? Great work and whoever is welding everything is doing a top-notch job.

Those are the S wastegates. The R would be too big for twins I think. Probably won't use the water cooling right now but will consider it. I think it would be a good idea for road race cars.

I'm getting so much direct contact on this, I figured I would go ahead and start an email list. You can sign up below. Signing up does nothing but get you in the loop. I keep saying "IF" this becomes a kit and it's still an "IF" but it's looking at least like a good possibility. Once we get R&D done and a decision is made, we will most likely offer a beta kit to a few people to do test installs, feedback on directions etc. Probably 2 autos, 2 manuals and 2 Boss cars. This will be offered to the people on this list first. So the list sorta gets you in line if we go that route.

Thanks for all the interest!
