For various reasons I am going to do a paint job on my car and wanted to get some opinions. I plan on doing a two tone with the current Tungston Grey on the bottom and Tuxedo Black on the top. The color would change along the top of the fender crease line. Something like this car.

I am think of doing an accent stripe about 1/2 inch wide separating the two colors with this color. The sample doesn't show up very well it is a 98 color Light Denim Blue Metallic

I am open to suggestions on the stripe. I thought about a red or a red/gold double strip but thought the blue would be a little more subtle.

I am also unsure how I want to do the rear. I have the CDC ducktail on the car and I am thinking I want to run the color change and the stripe up the ducktail and stop at the top edge. This would make the rear of the car all Tungstun Grey. The other options are to stop the change at the base of the ducktail and leave the ducktail TG or make the ducktail all black.

Post pics of your car and your rear spoiler.

Red had always gone well with black for your accent stripe. Maybe a dark blue?

Thin stripe separating the two colors is a good idea. Personally.....I'd go Bright Blue Metallic.

I like the idea of the two tone with Tungstun Grey and blackor royal blue with a red stripe to seperate them. I would go thinner though, maybe like a quater of an inch.

Not a bad idea, the problem is the two tone thing is too played out. After Foose did it a few times on Overhaulin anyone that wanted to change up the look of their car mocked it. If you want to have more than one color on your car I'd suggest doing something a little more original, like the toy Mustang above has. Or mix it up a little, paint the roof a and c pillars, or something like that. Trust me, do your research and see how many people have a regular two toned poon stang, it's almost as common place as Rally stripes on the S197s.

I have a few ideas that I would be happy to share with you as i have already made my car look different than the crowd, although people are starting to copy it as well.
