Didn't really think tech on this one. But I loaded new tunes tonight from Bama After having the BBR tunes. Wanted to try something different. Still having an issue of after WOT the car shuts down when clutching in. I can watch the RPM's drop to nothing. Any suggestions. I am thinking a grounding issue or ALT. ALT was replaced a little over a year ago.

Yes. It happened the day before I attempted to trade it in. At that time I had the BBR tune in it

Did BBR make any adjustment to the dashpot settings to try and solve the issue? Stock TB?

It's a setting in the tune that controls the TB closing. I had similar issues and Lund adjusted the DP and it was GTG

ok I will email bama and see what they say if they can adjust it. So you wouldn't say grounding issue or alt issue?

I can't rule that out. However alt issues usually manifest in more ways than that.

last time i had idling problems, turned out it was the battery, believe it or not. i had been to the track and loaded up the race tune, and after reloading the street tune, it would't sustain an idle after coming to a stop. i was also having trouble with the starter staying engaged when trying to start it. optima battery was replaced, now all is good.

See if it dies below 40 mph... One of my tunes did that too.
Below 40 mph it was good, above like 41 mph or higher, it died.

Dashpot adjustment cleared it right up; its a tuning issue.

Clean your TB as well. I had those issues and cleaned my TB and it went away o my 07

TB clean as a whistle. I clean it regularly.
Also had dashpot adjusted and still doing it

Anyone good at reading data log files? I sent in a datalog to bama tonight but curious as to what is inside it.

I don't see your mods in a signature. You have aftermarket cams I would guess. Stock tb? Several parameters control airflow during idle. Basically they mimick old school adjustments by opening the tb just enough to maintain an idle while stopped or when driving. Too much will result in hanging rpms, too little and the motor chokes out. I'll also guess that you don't have hanging rpms.

99.9% sure it's tune related. I'd suggest getting with lito for a tune.

No no cams yet. Need someone local that I can trust to install. Basic mods now. Was bolt on fully... Now just JLT 110 carbon fiber, UDPS, IMRC, and exhaust.... I think.... I've changed so many things I can't remember what is on there and what isn't. Stock TB. And just got the bama tunes for life on monday.

also checked voltage at tps and it is showing 1.24 engine off. Checked for vacuum leaks too. None. Still doing it. And after chunking bama 150.00 on tunes I doubt I can afford Lito right now. as far as 99.9% yes you are correct. Stock tune and airbox no issues. ANY TUNE BBR OR BAMA and boom issues.

Ok, it's pretty hard to screw the tune up with those mods. The only thing that sticks out are the imrc deletes not being accounted for or a vacuum line off.

Do you have the 3015 SCT x3? If so you can try the canned tune and see what happens. It will allow you to add in imrc deletes.

And I've checked all the vacuum I can find. I need a diagram of where they all are.

All of this happened randomly one day after installing my billet grille. And shortly after my long tubes were taken off.

I just went out to the garage and turned the key to on, and started pressing the pedal down to see if I could hear the tb opening and closing. Immediatley a loud whining noise like an electrical noise coming from the tb. Anyone know if this is normal. I can still here the clicking of the TB opening and closing but should it whine like that?
