We couldn't get it under 700whp even when we tried. LMAO. If anyone wants to PAY for a big boy race, and make it worth my while, I'll slap on a 2.95, get it tuned, and race some $1,000 races. Who's game?

Until my sloppy slow low timing fatty fat setup isn't fast enough and people walk away from ME, I'll keep it the way it is and still pull all day long. ;-)

Oh shit your car is only a c6 and not a Z? I mean my boys 08 was bone stock so I think he's only 440ish and I'm 480.

The Gt500 I ran pulled 2.5 on a intake Z06. I tried getting two to play with me. One heard the car idling and wouldn't play. The other was game till I down shifted. LOL..The C6 I have was said to made 485whp. I believe with how hard its ran. It walked away from a h/c/sc G8 that makes 556whp/510wtq, and as said door to door with a 13 GT500 to 160.

Fare facts. I loved my mustang. but end day its true. its a mustang. I had a faster mustang then a lot of of vettes. Didn't matter when we pulled people was like nice stang. Badass vette. Even when they heard I was faster in the 5.0.

And for price and whats done couldn't pass it up. i was originally looking at GS.

Gizmo5 has the faster car for sure. He pulled right off the hit till weight and aero came in effect where I held him at about 3.5-4 cars. but that wasn't till about 150. He was just busy sleeping first run and short shifting it. He will not do that again. LOL.

Detox on LS1tech will take you up on that race. Procharged Vette I think he only makes liek 800whp., And Camper in his 2010 Camaro. I bet we could get some badass races going.

5.0 owner all mad wants to race for money now..He mad yall talking shit about his car. How he didn't pull way he should. And I keep giving him hard time about losing first race. HAHA.

What Brad ISNT telling everyone is that he was being given a measured couple of pulls. He wanted to see where his car sat when compared to mine and buddies 13 GT500.

So I gave him 3 pulls

1st he must have had a chest pounding pee pee measure issue and jumped before 3rd honk, but I still gave him to 7K (being nice), which on my current setup isnt where it thrives, I know this

2nd pull, I realized he wanted to measure his pee pee, and feel tough, so I gave him another run to about 7300-7400 each gear, again, car wakes up at 6800, and wont stop till... who knows so far.... Maybe 8500?

3rd pull I went ahead and gave him all the way to my current gentle street tune limiter, 7600rpms, and well, watch the vid... Theres a reason why they cut his cam off early lol.

I thought he wanted friendly comparison pulls, not a trophy badge, if I would have known he was wanting to say "I won" I would have just went for the kill from the start and not gave him comparison runs.

Regardless, everything it had still wont beat the slowest setup I have right now for DDing. And now that hes running around the internet telling the world about how awesome his car and driving is, I went ahead and said ok, lets do a real race for money, where BOTH parties (not just one) are going for a kill. He then back peddled, said my car is faster...

Anyways, it still stands Brad... $500, same exact race, 2nd gear 50mph to whatever. Come earn your stripes kid... ;-)

I get it and don't blame you. I can't have a Vette I need a back seat. They are awesome cars except for the horrible quality interior. When I pull in somewhere my modded Mustang gets a lot of bad ass looking car. When a Vette pulls in the only people that say the same thing about a stock looking Vette are old farts. And I can say that since I've closed in on the old fart status. I would love to have a c6 z when my twins are out the house. And in the vid you never jumped you hit it perfect

It was 3 separate comparison runs, with 1st being slower, and final being all of it.

i cant stand the exhaust note on turbo v8's T-T vettes are no joke we all know that, and we all know the 5.0's arent either. Another thing we can agree on is that any care can be fast depending on how much money you throw at it

Put a decent set of gears in the 2013 GT500 and it is a different race. Vettes are nice but it is still a Chevy that we the people bailed out. Nice win Gizmo.

What cam is in it? I had a PatG spec cam that I installed in my 2008. 231/238 .617/.621 lift. Ran great and sounded awesome! Mine made 490rwhp on ECS's dynapack dyno.

Both cars are bad ass. Just two different class cars no matter how you look at it. Vette is the ONLY Chevy I would buy.
