Different Idea for Steering Wheel?

I thinking of things to do to the interior of the mustang to make it nicer and thought to wrap the steering wheel with some alcantara or suede.

I thought about just buying a new steering wheel with the alcantara but I want to keep the airbag and I like the look of the wheel too.

Has anyone ever seen this done or any idea on how to do it?
