I haven't had time to wash the dang car yet this year but I'm still racing it. I felt her come back down after my launch in the 2nd round so I knew it got some air. Didn't know it was this much and I can't imagine what it's going to do once I do some weight savings and put skinnies on her.

I know it needs a serious cleaning but I had to post this shot up!

By the way, I can see that the rear is creeping forward on the driver's side from the launch.....will rod end LCA's help control that more? I'm just nervous that when I decide to launch her harder that the tire will rub and rip the molding off.

The difference is you're lifting on an auto which I'm sure is more difficult than with a stick. My IAT's were absolute crap Tuesday night and it was pulling timing bad. I need to suck it up and get a good heat exchanger and maybe even a meth set-up. The ice was melting in the tank before I ran so it wasn't doing much for me at all.

If E85 was more readily available I'd consider it. That's what Lito would like me to do but the closest place is 30 minutes away that has it(either Atco or a station called Mighty Joe's on rte 206).

even so, its my first time lifting lol.

I too am possibly considering e85 but if i do im limited to only 2 stations around me and the price ISNT much less to make it worthwhile. Now If i were racing 2-3x a week it certainely would since the price of C16 is 15.75 a gallon.

Nice!

Reading your title I thought you took your car off a sweet jump. Much to my dissapointment there was no jump.

Never the less seeing a car lift the front end is still cool hahaha

Nice pic!, I thought it was someone from here that destroyed their molding on a run where the tire caught it.

Nice man! Those 17's or 18's up front? Making some serious power to get either or up that high along with a well planned/built suspension setup.. congrats! :beerdrink:

Thanks. It's the stock 17's the car came with up front. The battery is in the trunk but the blower and heat exchanger is up front so I figure the weight up front is actually a little heavier than stock.

Power wise, nothing extreme. On 93 octane pump gas which is what the car had in it I'd guess right around 500 at the tires. That was launching off the 2-step at around 3400 rpms.

I red-lighted and let up a bit. It was only an 11.6 pass and the 60' was a 1.58.

I'm dealing with high IAT's still and it's pulling timing like no tomorrow. I need to figure out if I'm going to try a larger heat exchanger or just get meth injection which will allow the timing to stay up and give a little more octane. The price is roughly the same so I'm thinking meth now and heat exchanger later.
