Idk he just said the Garret's are just as good and are cheaper. I said well I really want a precision CEA 67mm so I can have a 1200rwhp capable car. He said that's money wasted. We made alittle below 1200rwhp with our twin kit with 61mm journal bearings and it spooled at about 3100 rpms. He said u can have the same power and save thousands.

Yeah, I would only go 67mm for 1500rwhp.

Just an FYI to the OP, on my stock 5.4L 3v, my 61s spooled around 3800rpm. That is at 7-8psi and 3.73s and a TR6060.

Not sure what they'll spool at with the built engine and stage 3 heads/turbo cams. Hopefully a little quicker.

Man, I remember when your were building the current setup b/c we were building at the same time... I can't believe you are already ditching the current setup.

GOOD LUCK and look forward to seeing the progress!!!

Thanks everybody for the guidance. Y'all have been a tremendous help.
I have a deal working right now for a hellion kit with billet wheel/ball bearing 64mm at such a great price I can't pass up. And plus he's at Gearheads so there would be no wait time on the exchange.
But if the deal falls thru THP is the kit I'm going with. I really want the THP kit, but the more money I save the more I can put in her.

Pike thx bro. It's been a long journey for both of us. But I'm just not happy with the way mine performs.

Jpc I would have my car at yalls shop in a heart beat if y'all were closer. Y'all do some of the best work I have ever seen.

Alex Rockwall?? Are u back in town bro??

Oh another question for y'all.
Who makes the best turbo cams out there?? I'll even do custom grind. I was thinking L&M. What do y'all think??

And my buyer for the whipple has fallen thru, so my whole whipple setup is going to be put up in the for sale section tomorrow. If y'all know anybody interested let me know. Everything is going from the steeda kit to the whipple monoblade.

Try bulletcams.com. They do custom cams for your setup and have a great reputation. You need to have the turbo kit first, so the cams will be fit for your setup.

Also, JPC might be able to help you out with RGR spec cams. Just do custom and be done with it. You will be glad you did.
