Got about 4-5 mm on the front pads:

It's not making any noise yet. I heard that brake pads will make noise once they get too thin.

Should I wait until I hear noise or should I just replace them?

When my fronts looked like that the left rear was metal on metal. Bracket was a little messed up - the bushings inside.

I got a lot better braking with fresh pads on my old rotors.

This year, new rotors.

Incremental upgrades!

I used centric 30910810 StopTech street performance brake pads.

I think new pads are aprx 3/8" thick. 3/8" = .375" = 9.525mm
Looks like you are at 50% wear.

You might want to check the rears as well.

The inside pads ware faster then the outer because of the pistons act against the rotors first.
