Hi. I would like to share with you information about how I installed the brake booster and master cylinder from the 6th generation.
A set of 2022 parts number jr3c-2b195-sc was taken for installation.Безымянный 2.pngБезымянный 1.png
Since in this version of the cylinder, the outlet of the brake tubes is in the same direction as in the native cylinder.
The installation was not easy. Because on the amplifier itself, the distance between the hairpin entering the cabin is slightly longer than on the old amplifier.
And for this we had to expand the openings in the cabin.FTCf5ASwwJTaBABcvHAACxyZkq0-1920.png

The pedal assembly also remains old, since the new one has a different shape in relation to the body.
In it, you also need to expand the holes by first pulling out the bushings of the direction of the pins.
after widening the hole, do not rush to install the pedal assembly . as I said, they differ in shape. And for installation, it was necessary to put washers of no more than 4 mm under the assembly on each stud. In order not to shift the node back a lot. If this is not done, the brake will be in a pre-pressed state, and after a short trip you may get ABS and ESP errors.zmvR0vj4DApYj9kvu6R-lHsUN2s-1920.jpg
Next, we move on to the engine compartment
In the old version of the cylinder, the brake lines have different thicknesses of tubes and fittings, respectively.LS3aHL8r2LGdk1dNYuQ1clWKuK0-1920.jpgThe highway is 6mm wide on the front contour, and 8mm wide on the back contour. The cylinder from the 6th generation already has identical 8mm tubes and m14 fittings in 1.5 increments.

Therefore, for the front contour, I made a copper tube with a new fitting of the right size to connect to the cylinder.
And I had difficulties connecting the tube to the ABS. Here, either use an adapter from m12 to m14, or drill the m12 fitting to pass through the 8mm tube. I had to use the second option because I couldn't find an adapter in the near time.
Now the brake fluid level sensor. It also has significant differences.
The new one is not suitable for us because it has fewer pins. But the old one is not so easy to insert.

To install the old sensor, you need to widen the hole in the sensor attachment point again. I used a stationery knife and a drill bit (i know, it's barbaric).iZu4es9LrQIltCsrPOJ3MbDWfSI-1920.jpg
But after that, the sensor will be able to be installed . Do not pay attention to the fact that it will stand sideways, and not like in an old barrel, it will still work and measure the level of brake fluid.
It seems that this is the whole install. Next, do not forget to remove the air from the system. First, be sure delete air of the ABS system using diagnostic equipment. After only the old pumping method with a partner (one presses, the second and releases air from the calipers.
In my opinion, after this installation, braking becomes significantly better even with a four-piston system. But I'm also going to install calipers from the 6th generation with six pistons in the front in the near future . But in the back, I don't know how it is yet.
