Does an '07-'09 head unit fit an '06?

Looking to add an input jack to my '06 Shaker 500 system, WITHOUT adding any aftermarket equipment. Can I simply replace my Shaker 500 head unit with one out of an '07-'09? Are the factory wiring connectors the same?
