New parts on old junk!
I bought a universal Mishimoto oil separator while I was in Carlisle, and it came with some 1/2" barbed fittings. I started buying stuff to install it on my engine (and replace a small Jeg's one I've had on there for a few years), only to find out the fitting at the intake manifold and on the end of the valve cover elbow are 5/8".
So, I looked on ebay for some 5/8" oil hose and found some stuff for push-lok fittings...well, it was too big of an ID to fit the 5/8" barbed fittings I got.
So then I looked on McMaster-Carr, figuring they'd have something...ordered some hose they showed as oil resistant, turns out it's plain soft rubber hose with no reinforcement, so the vacuum would probably suck it closed and I doubt I could use it.
Now I looked around and I can't find anything else...not really sure what to do now. I don't know if I have any other option except braided hose, which I didn't really want to use. Anyone know?
