Just a warning, flicking your wot switch as your in the middle of a pass is probably not the smartest thing to do. I did as you did and tried it on an empty street, and it's not so bad racing from a roll. But at the track taking your eyes off what your doing to fumble for a switch- not cool,don't forget there is another car in that lane next to you. You could try a momentary switch if you don't use the window switch. I'm sure they make them on the shifter ball still or on the wheel But It's so much safer with a window switch and theres a few out there too.Good luck, patience on the first few runs don't even worry about the car next to you let him leave first your et doesn't start till you do. Check your slip improve 1 step at a time

The WOT switch isn't as reliable as the window switch. When I had nitrous on my car and before installing the window switch I was lining up at the light with it armed, took the rpm's up to 1800 and the system read WOT and fired. The window switch will prevent the WOT from seeing anything until you hit your selected rpm.

Well that must've been a nice little surprise, were you saying

LOL - something like that definitely! It was quite a surprise to suddenly launch even with my foot on the brake.

Right after that I decided it was time to get the window switch installed and not wait until after another track day. For the rest of that night I just kept my right hand next to the arming switch (a benefit to the automatic) and when I launched I hit the arm button after the car got rolling

The races when great this weekend guys and things for all the input... after the races and after reading all this a window switch is a must have for the track. I'll start up a thead with my new time in a bit.
