I have a 2009 stock GT with 17" wheels. I am looking for good tires to hold on the track. Any good advice?

i am looking for the rear tires something like 285/45/17 size

I would go with MT 275/17's listed below, since the stokers are like 8" wide. Many run them with no issues on the stock rim. Here's some info for you from an old post of mine...

17IN OPTIONS

Mickey Thompson

or...

or...

M&H

or...

Hoosier

or...

or for those that have an 11" rim to play with....

i run the 275 Mickeys on the stock "fan blade" 17 x 8's and Though the car looks funny with them they hook up well in a 5 speed and stock gears.

I'm running the MT ET Streets 275/40R17 when I'm at the track. I have them mounted on the 17" Split Spoke (Concept) wheels and with the GT500 fronts, they look odd.

Not the bullett's, but they're the same size rims.
