Does anyone happen to run 275/40/17 drag radials on a 17x9.5" rim in the rear? I have a 2011 mustang gt. I used to run 275/50/17 drag radials in the rear but thought they looked to tall.

Thanks,

J.D

Yah I've seen this. I think the height of the 275/40/17 will be o.k on 12 mustang gt, I'm just looking for some pictures of people having them on there.

Thanks again.

I think you should go with the 50's. And while tall tires are not the norm today they used to be and think it looks better on our retro cars.

I run a 28.8" tall tire when I run the drag radials.

How about a 275-45-17? Would that work for you?

I think that a 275/45/17 would look good but I can't find any in a drag radial. I agree, I think the 275/40 will look to small. I'm gonna go with a 305/45/17 or the original 275/50/17. Thanks for the help!!!!!

Definitely not a common size but they do make them.
