Figured I would post this in here too.

My Buddy Doug from BAMA CHIPS has been wanting to come to Houston for some time, and since we got the new dyno, we figured why not have a Dyno day with him and that way folks get the tunes they want from Doug, and I get to hang out with my buddy and shoot the crap.

We have picked August 17-19 to do this.

If you are wanting to come down and get a tune, please let me know so we can reserve a spot for you. We are only going to be doing 10 cars per day, but if we need to do more on the weekend we will make time, as long as you are willing to wait.

The cost of the Dyno tune will be as follows:
FI Cars will be $250.00 for 3 tunes
N/A Cars will be $150.00 for 3 tunes.
Please call to book your spot as they are filling up fast.

Chips will be done if you need, but we need to know in advance.

We are also going to be offering parts at a discounted cost along with installation of these parts with a before and after dyno run.

We will have food and drinks for everyone, and a 1 hour lunch break each day for questions and just shooting the Sh%t.

Please call 281-667-5566 or email us at [email protected] if you would like to schedule a time and sign up for this Dyno day.

That's a little rich for my blood but if I am in town I might drive down to hang out.

How much if you only want 1 tune ( not sure why I would need 3 ) and you have a base tune to work with already?

Sweet! Hey what do I have to do to my x cal 2 to be able to allow new tunes? Currently I have a canned brenspeed tune.
I'd love to get a custom dyno tune. Hum... I might need to buy more performance parts.

Yeah, that is pretty expensive...I'd be with Hawg only wanting one tune as well. I'll be there for sure though!!!

Sounds like a good oportunity to meet some of y'all....

Hey Joe here's a question for you...when I load a tune to the car (one of Doug's), say the 93Race tune, can I adjust the rev limiter to lower than he has in the tune? he has it set at 6800...can I lower it to 6500, you know using the parameters questions that comes up when doing the download?

And as for the parts, do you sell Spyder's DS? How much for the install on that puppy?

For those only wanting one tune, please call or pm me a number and I will talk with Doug about it, we should be able to do it for less.

Mcclean, you can adjust the rev limiter yourself if he has left user options in the Tune for you.

I do sell the spyder shafts, and it is $80.00 to install them. If you are wanting one, please let me know in advance so I can get some more. I only have one left in stock.

probably the 18th, as I might be starting a new job around then and don't know if I'll be able to get away on a workday...if I'm still at this job, then maybe the PM of the 17th.

With as much as I travel, I do good to be able to plan a week in advance. Planning a month in advance is out of the question. But if I do it, it would be Saturday.
