My original dyno has a 1.03 SAE number next to it while my newer one has .99 . Is this number dynamic based on environmental factors or is this something set manually?

thanks

So the first time your car actually made 3% less power than it shows, and the second time it made 1% more than shown. SAE corrects for temp, barometer, elevation, etc.

I believe you have that backwards there.

1.03, means there needs to be 3% added to the HP numbers. As to wear .99 would take 1% away making less HP.

Post your dyno's or give us more info. But I believe I am correct here.

either way its fine. it would make sense that .99 would lower hp as it happened it 10* cooler temp. I just wanted to see if it was automatic. tx
