Hello everyone, I have a 2014 gt and changed the eps rack with one from a 2013-14 gt500. It worked for 2 weeks then went out again. Is their a difference in the 2? Or did I just get a bad one? Checked fuses and connections, and they where all good. Thanks.

Have you scanned for codes?
The rack needs to "know" the engine is running, or it wont assist.

No codes on dash, I'll hook up a scanner when I get a chance. But would it matter that it worked good for 2weeks then it stopped working?

You need to check for codes in the steering rack. Codes in the rack (if any) do not light up the dash.

Do I need a special scanner for that? I just have a standard one.

Just because a light is not on does NOT mean there are no trouble codes stored. Was the rack programmed to the vehicle?

No I didn't think to re program because it was working fine.
