My thoughts are:

1. When you first get your car you want to improve the tone, buy axle back.
2. Then add offroad x or h pipes, tone gets louder, some good some bad.
3. You then add long tubes and now its too loud.
4. You then go back to stock mufflers if you have them or buy another axle back that is less agressive, or install resonators.

That sums it up for me.
