I had the same one, and I felt the nav part of it was lacking considerably compared to something like a basic Garmin.

I now have an aftermarket unit that has DVD and nav (and SD storage and all kinds of other fun things) and it works great. The nav part of it is FAR superior to the OEM nav that it replaced.

I have the nav in mine too, and also have an old disc in mine, so I as well would like to know if anyone has an updated disc and if it works well!

I have had the same style factory nav in both my mustang and my wife's old mkx...her mkx I bought the $200 update "DVD" for and everything physically looked the same as my 07. Roads, POI's, ect are pretty much the only things that changed.

However from a functionality standpoint it worked great, just not as pretty as the ones you get nowadays as technology obviously improves with time.

I have aftermarket in my truck and agree with 19cobra93.
