Really nice shop, and they know their stuff. 286/303 with stock airbox and no other mods that matter (do the Stinger's do anything other than sound good?).
Also took a spin in the twin-turbo car....this was a customer's car with stock internals...500 rwhp at 10 psi, but otherwise it drove like stock....no turbine sounds, no blow-off valves. Was breaking the 285's loose in third gear with the stock 3.55's (once in 3rd gear and cruising along, stomp on gas = bust them loose). Spool-up was just past 2000 rpm. Just a really nioce setup, and Nick the owner couldn't be a nicer guy. This is the kit I'm going with when I can pony up the cashola. Turns out they're a certified repair facility for Borg Warner....

I highly recommend anyone in the Houston area whose looking for a tuner who can do the sundry and the exotic, to pay Nick a visit.

MWILKES, got any pics?

onebadgsx,
Did you have a bad experience with them? They are not too far from where I live. I hadn't considered taking my car over there as I try to do most/all of the work myself, but I am always curious about local shops in case I ever decide to.

Thanks. I am new to S197's in general as I just bought my car in October, but have been around Mustangs a long time.

Cool, I have a 65 Fastback. I'm putting a 351w stroked to 421 built by Larry H in it.

Dude, your 66' is one NICE car :thumb:

Thanks. I have put a ton of time into it over the last 4.5 years. I generally finish a project w/ it and start a new one. The trouble is I enjoy wrenching on it much more than I enjoy driving it! I think the 06 will be the opposite though.... I will only be doing night/weekend projects on it so that I can drive it every day!
