Finally painted my engine cover...Now with Pic!

EngineCover1.jpg

What cha think Nick? Took me long enough huh? LOL!

I used wrinkle black and the same red color as on my coil covers. Of course, I don't have my car back yet, so I can't take a picture on the car. But it matches perfectly, I can tell you that. When I do get the 'Stang back, I'll update this thread with a picture of it installed. But here's a pic of the car with just the coil covers done. I still need to touch up a couple places on the engine cover, but you get the idea.

If people are interested in a DIY, let me know and I'll post one up of the materials and paint I used.

Edit:

Here's a pic.

I hate not having my car. The world is not on its correct axis when its not sitting in my garage begging to go for a ride. Even if it does sit in the garage mostly, lol..

Looks good. I would do this mod if I wasn't ditching my cover. I think the engine bay looks better without the cover.

Why all the pm,s? Is it a secret or something?lol

Nah....just at first, I didn't think there was going to be this much interest. I'm gonna post up a DIY thread.

nice, i want to do that on my kona blue, hook a guy up ha

Look for my DIY thread later today. I'll add some insights as to how to mask it off since I didn't do that in the PM's.
