After a year and a half I had the opportunity to run on a 1/4 mile track to see what car ran after gear change. As usual last run of the night was the best and it was a solo pass 13.332 @ 102.98. I still haven't installed the delete plates or the LCA's. Overall pretty happy except for the average times was in the low 12's. Most cars were early 70's novas and just about all cars had hedders, cams and slicks. I guess since it's not so hot now its time to get out the wrenches.....lol. The track was Red River Raceway north of Shreveport. Very nice track but only open on Friday nights for T & T until end of Nov. still had a blast as usual though.
I was surprised to find that anyone running 13.90 or faster had to wear a helment (unless it was your first time there). Later guys
