So of the people going, are any participating? Or just spectating?

eh what the hell. I might just hop in my old clunker and go up there in the morning to spectate. I certainly don't feel my car is participation worthy... and even if it was I am too lazy to clean it.

Wish I could have made it. I live right across the street and could hear everyone coming and going.

You didn't miss anything. Took me about 15 minutes and 1 lap through to remember exactly why I don't bother going to crap like this. There were maybe a half dozen nice "car show" type cars there. Funny part was, the two nicest in the whole lot were a Gen 1 Pro Street Camaro and a Studebaker truck. The rest were S197s that someone threw a different set of wheels on an otherwise showroom stock car, or they spent a couple of hundred bucks throwing every gawd awful ugly fucking bolt cap or color coordinated dress up item they could find under the hood and somehow that makes it a show car. Except for the one guy that threw some American Pride theme on to his silver car. I gotta give him credit where credit is due.. he couldn't possibly find any other way to make that car any uglier.

I shoulda pulled my shit in to the lot and popped the hood. At least people there could see what a built car looked like.

If you were inside the show area I doubt you saw it. I was parked outside the show area, a couple of slots past the entrance.

No built motors in our group, our cars are pretty new, just boltons and suspension and wheels of course. LOL
