It's weird, in my garage under lights of all sorts and even in the sun it's perfect...then I drive it around for twenty minutes and it looks like there are streaks everywhere.

I cut mine to about 1:1, no noticeable color change and works fine for me. Just go over yours again with a microfiber. Hows the humidity where you are?

I cut 1:1

If you're very humid, try 2:1. It's rather strong stuff.

Possibly a bit of topic but seeing as I just got into the waterless wash game I've got a bit of a question....

FK is great, but I should use it pretty much daily if the mustang sees any road time correct? I'm trying to differentiate between when I should switch between waterless wash vs QD

Waterless washes typically have a polymer in them that "eats" dust and minor minor minor road dirt. I'd only use them if the surface has been properly prepped with a good sealant or a nano coating.

The waterless wash does not give off any extra shine, theyre just a mild cleaner. So, to answer your question... you use both.

If the car has moved and is mildly dusty, you use the waterless wash. If the car has just been cleaned, you use the QD.

Well I run the blacklight/Lava combo....just got V7 today which I'll be using to top lava with. I may top lava with a coat or two of CG Pete 53' and spray v07 over that....

Too many products after a while though to keep track of, I need to figure out my new regimen for these guys

there is no reason to top lava with pete's 53. For one it is an inferior wax, and two, why would you top a wax with a wax, lol.

...Because I haz it....? From my understanding Petes was more of a beauty wax, albeit lower end of the spectrum. Since Lava has the characteristics of a few things I didn't assume I couldn't top it with Petes. Well I got the tin of it for free at least, ah well.

From my experience, Lava looks every bit as good as Pete's if not better.

Pete's is a good beauty wax at a lower spectrum. Lava is a good protective wax, and has some beaut to it as well, hence why its almost 2x the price.
