Drifting = cool. I would love to do it. Man, that is an EXPENSIVE sport though. Makes roadracing look cheap!

What makes it any more than road racing?? I mean you will burn up tires but it cant be much different in cost terms when you get right down to it. But I guess it also depends on how deep you get into it too. In my experience drifting isnt that bad unless you have a car that will destroy tires in a couple laps. Most cars dont do that. Especially at grassroots level.

I've been working with one of the pro drift teams on their combo. The amount of tires, parts and $$$ they go through is astounding.

O now the pros... Yea... Its mind numbing. I have a friend who works with Justin Pawlak and another who is working with Nate Hamilton. It is just nuts what they spend but it is impressive how they can set the cars up to have so much grip. Thats what im building a foxbody to do right now LOL. Working on sourcing a coyote to put in over the winter.
