Forward facing turbo headers and down pipe kit with AC and power steering

That setup looks a bit like a hot mess. Is one of the forward facing headers flipped upside down? The one on the drivers side?

No they mirrored headers. People are just always used to seeing headers run down at a angle. these run up at a angle or straight out not sure probably angled up. Much like we do on Racing boats. Where you cant run them any where but up.

I haven't heard that about PTE.

I'll have to consult with PTE about the mounting and look at Sactowns set up. His is mounted just to the side of the driver side head. ABS is gone, slim radiator, no condenser.

Check out forcedinductions.com for the best prices I have seen on turbos. I don't see the need to pay extra for a turbo that isn't gonna perform any better. I do can speak of where the cg cross over sits the turbo. Its directly beneath the throttle body center of the engine. But a little farther down vs a hellion and on3. If you just use their headers and build your own cross over then you can place the turbo in your desired location.

I may have to do that. I want to say that when PTE built that specific turbo they built it to be able to fit in that space. I read something somewhere, maybe on yellow bullet, that it was much smaller in overall size than a comparable sized turbo.

This year I'm building suspension anyways, next winter I'm yanking the KB and going turbo.

I've got an iron blocked built motor rated to over 1000rwhp per the builder, so I want to turn this thing up. I don't think I'll go that high but I want it up there. That number is relative anyways. 1000 through a 4r70w is different than a manual.

He's running the PTE7675 cea. I don't think he has a build thread but he'll probably post some pics.

Some quick photos of the BW pretty sure it a sx475 I'll have to ask to make sure. But none the less it's a tight fit for a large frame turbo. Personally would like for it to be moved more towards the radiator so it can be clocked down. Just have to relocate the radiator. In my mind would be easy with the condenser moved. Probably have to get rid of the hood latch as well.

That's what I'm gonna do. The different things I'll do is dump the exhaust out the side somehow and get rid of the rest of the exhaust system.

So from what I read there still isn't a decent inexpensive turbo kit for the 3v... Sigh...

First off I didn't steal them, I shared them,lol. I know I am ready for it. I just have a long road ahead of me. Slowly getting everything ready for it. I just happen to luck out on the kit in the middle of redoing a bunch of other things. I'll be doing a lot of what Robert did except for my cooling system will be different. I'll be moving everything forward more. Besides I have to beat Roberts numbers,lol. Which I'm still impressed by. Also I'm thinking about running the down pipe out of the hood.
