Can't think of another way to explain it. In fourth gear only, under moderate to heavy power and cornering through fast and winding mountain roads, the car will occasionally feel like it's binding on itself and I can hear what's like a groan or hum in mid-cabin. The car handles great and performs beautifully in all other respects with zero power loss. The car has been aligned front and rear as well as corner balanced. Under solid power in third, no sensation or sound as described in fourth. Weird. Three inch stainless x-pipe with Borla Sports in back. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Do you have the original driveshaft?
I had similar symptoms with a worn out center hanger.
This the movement I had using just my bare hand.

Interesting. I have just over 37,000 on the dial though. Doubt there's that much play in the DS. Looks like you already swapped out for a one piece. Assuming it solved your issue. Have considered changing to a one piece and will def check it when we get it back up in the air. Tx for the reply.
