I was the first to reply but I can with certainty tell you it wasn't to impress you or anyone else. While he didn't provide a ton of information it wasn't that difficult to understand what he was asking. What the hell does having a decent track record get you anyway? The right to be a dick to "newbs"?

Also it might be note worthy to point out that a large amount of well built foreign cars have some sort of locking mechanism for either the gas door or the gas cap.

Nobody was being a dick to the newb...and I dont have a track record.
A mustang is not a well built foreign car either. Also, I already explained to the OP why his question was taken as a joke. Now, let's play a little game of dialogue role play.

Me: "OP, when putting fuel in your mustang, do you have to push a button, insert a key, or do anything before your fuel door will open?"

OP: "No"

Me: "Then why would you think that there is a button to lock the fuel door when there is clearly no lock on the fuel door to begin with?"

There buddy, that is not me being mean to a newb. That is me asking a simple question of "common sense."

I said that the newbs jumped at the chance to answer this question because yall have not yet learned how to tell someone to use their fucking heads.

But you will...one day.:hi:

It's possible the "newbs" (myself included) might not be "newbs" on other sites. It's also possible that said "newbs" understand how the internets work but choose to be helpful vs telling some to STFU.

I get your point, it's not helpful.

I didnt tell him to shut the fuck up...there are bigger assholes on here than me, trust me...lol.

And let me ask you a question, if you were a member of another site first, why did you leave that site? If it was because you were trying to get away from the trolls and idiots, then my point is made.

I'm sure you're are correct on the assholes comment.

I'm still an active member and I consider it my "home" forum if you will. Which explains why I'm not as active on this site. However the reason I "troll" this site is because it's more S197 centric than my home site. I just happen to own an S/C'd 08gt so it made sense to read up on what others are doing. I rarely post unless I can add something to a thread which I'm not really doing right now. lol
