That's a new one, I don't remember seeing a vent sensor on the fill pipe on mine, and I didn't remove any electrical connections on the fill pipe while removing it to fit an air bleeder.

Very strange. I would have suspected it when it was after 3 year old.Strangely enough - I used to have this issues early on. Then, it stopped giving me problems. The car is 20 yrs old now, and it used to happen in yrs 1-3....then nothing. Did I do anything different? Nope
As a matter of fact, it was then and to this day, that I began tracking how much gas I used so I knew how much I had to pump back in when I stopped for refueling. In other words, everytime I fill the tank, I zero out the fuel consumption gauge before I leave the station so that I know how much gas I need to pump back in next time....Very strange. And you fill sometimes 3/4-> 1/1 or 1/2->1/1 ? That would not work on my 2007. 0->1/1 works all the timeAs a matter of fact, it was then and to this day, that I began tracking how much gas I used so I knew how much I had to pump back in when I stopped for refueling. For proof of principle, try to fill up above half full, if you have the opportunity. Many times I fill from almost E to F. Most of the times is 1/4 to F.
