Gauge cluster/ecu issue after new tune

Yesterday I loaded a new tune on the car, and since then I've had my gauge cluster go weird twice. Basically every light will light up, speedo and tach will go dead, and my power steering setting goes back to factory.

After it did it last night I reset the car to stock and reloaded the tune thinking that would fix it but it didn't.

Any ideas on what could be causing it?

Edit: I do have a wifi scan tool thing in my obd2 port for my dash cmd app

check battery and alternator for good juice.

Well haven't had the issue since

But I ran the diagnostics on my app and got a p06b8 pending code(internal control module nvram error) and then 2 vehicle id block corrupted, not programmed under permanent codes. So I guess I'll call the dealer and have them go through it once I take the tune off

It sounds like you managed to fry your PCM. And the dealer can tell that you have had an aftermarket tune.

Yeah I know. I'm not worried about that. Just don't want them to reflash something over the tune, then I'd really be screwed

Make sure to always have a battery charger connected when uploading tunes.

If they reflash it, all you would have to do is flash your tune back in.

Yup, actually you want them to reflash over it so you have a good backup stock tune to keep...then when you get home load your aftermarket tune back on.

If dealer reflashes it, then it doesn't matter as the stock tune still resides in the tuner.

You return it back to stock to update the SCT device invade it bricks.

Does that imply that if the dealer re-flashes over your original stock tune, the aftermarket tune might need to be altered because it is based on the original stock tune? Because an aftermarket tune applied over a new factory tune it does not recognize can turn your PCM into a brick? Eh?

Maybe. That would be a question for your tuner.
