Im running 4.10s on a 100dry @ 450 at the wheels.

i ran on 28" slicks before the tune 7.5s @ 1.6 60 foot
today i switch to new 26DR and i completly blow the tires off, still the track prep sucked (i was the only one at the track) and the tires were brand new.

i'll put stock springs back on my car and go to the 1/4 on saturday.

how are you going to support a 300 shot? wet or dry? stock tranny? which sparkplugs are you going to use?

im running 39lbs injectors and they maxed out at 457. on a dry kit. im putting a second stage also next week, this one would be wet.

it has a mmr fuel system, it is a directport wet kit, the trans is a built 4r70w with transbrake, 80ib injectors and briskplugs

no the car is a daily driver. The car won't see 300 but a couple of times. The car will be sprayed 150-200 all the time.

lol u would need either a huge bottle or a couple of 10lbs.
I was just playing about have the 5lb bottles. I've got two 10lb bottles and a nitrous controller but I still need help with the gears.

go with 3.90's.... still retain some driveability, wont wind the motor out at the top end...look into getting a 26" tire and the 3.90's...if not a 28" tire and 4.10's

i'd stay from the 26" go either a 28 slick so u can spray and hook out the hole or, something like a 325-50-15 and 4.10 gears, maybe even 4.30s

i have 4.10s and was spining my 275.40.17 spraying out the hole on a 100 shot (wet) and it wasnt even tuned. i was using my n/a street tuned. i put the slicks on and i was hooking like a chap. 1.6s 60 foots

26" slicks and some 3.90's at the right pressure i think would hook pretty good? ive been in a few 4.10 cars they just dont feel right on the highway...maybe its just me
im going for the 3.90's and a 26" tire, but my goal is 11.99 and thats it nothing lower cause i dont need a cage :)

Yeah thats all great for a 11.99 sec pass. but i dont think a built stroker with a built tranny and a 300 shot would be there haha. just look at the 1/4 datasheet and look at how manny ppl are running 26"s o 10sec and faster cars.

All the tracks around here switched to 11.49 for needing a cage, I was assuming it was the new NHRA rule. Not sure if all tracks have switched yet?

If it's a daily to retain some form of realistic drivability I would say go no more than 4.10s now if it were mine and I had a daily I would be running 4.56s all day long. Good Luck sounds like a very nice setup.

what plugs will you be running?
he said he would be using brisk spark plugs. dont thing how long they would last if its a wet shot, the good thing is that he is going to use a direct port.

if it would be my i'd run dry shot on direct port
