got myself a new hood for the hotrod

Well i picked up a Cervini hood locally off craigslist today. It is the 2.5" height cowl. what i like is it has a heat extractor on the backside. i didn't know it had it until i saw it in person. should be interesting to see on the car when i get it on. the pic below is from their site showing the hood style

that's the hood i want, lucky dog. i found a cowl hood on craigslist also...but some kid had taken a cowl scoop and had it fiberglassed onto a stock hood.

it looked like fido's hiney.

The stars never seemed to align, so I moved on to other things. At this point I am torn on whether I should get one or not. Racing is all I got on my mind at this moment.
