Ground Control coilovers - increased bump travel?

Simple questions that I cannot find the answer to...sorry if I missed it in my searching. Ground Control states for their coilover package on 2011-2013 Mustangs:

2 Single adjustable, custom valved Konis in Ground Control short strut housings

2 SHORT Koni single adjustable rear shocks

I'm assuming this means they will have increased bump travel for lowered ride heights? What about rebound? If I run only about an inch lower than stock, will rebound be restricted too much on these? I'm looking to drop the front about an inch, and the rear about 1.25 inches.

FWIW, this would be for my recently purchased 2014 GT. I'm a recovering autox and roadrace addict, so I don't really plan on doing much autox or track time with this car. I just want to lower it slightly and tweak the handling more to my liking for street driving. I'm considering off the shelf Koni Sports with some lowering springs, but I see a lot of value in this Ground Control kit even for street driving. Besides that, I like the spring selection this would open up. Any help would be appreciated.

I cant speak for the rear, but i have the GC fronts. Im running the #380 spring still with 1 full turn from soft. I have never ran into a issue running into bump stops or lack of rebound travel. I have the car lowered 1.25" front and rear with about 6000 street miles since install. I could only recommend them.

When I spoke with Ground Control, they told me that they would be able to make the coilovers to whatever specifications I wanted as regards ride height, such that the shaft would be about halfway into its travel at the desired ride height. You should probably talk to them about your specific needs before ordering so that you get exactly what you're after.

In my case, I'm going to want to initially drop my car by only about half an inch, if that. It'll be a little while before I get coilovers, probably not until the end of the year. I first have to figure out what I dislike about the stock suspension. There are already some things on that list that coilovers alone should be able to take care of...

Wow, I knew they valve the dampers and give you spring rates according to your wants/needs. No idea they'd set up the struts and/or shocks for your desired ride height.

Yup, to my knowledge they do this without extra charge. Call them and talk to them. They are great to work with from my experience and they deliver a quality product for an entry level set of coilovers.
