What exactly are you looking for? I just installed a Honda S2000 start button in my 05 Saleen. Total out of pocket was less than 60 bucks.

Here are a few of the links I used:

This one was the best, I thought:
http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/Start%20Button3.htm

Another version:
http://www.3.8mustang.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2111517

And you can look at this one, too:
http://home.comcast.net/~mustangtony/starterbutton.htm

Here's mine:

i'm just thinking.... what if the wire pinches on something or comes loose(it can so don't say it wont) thats a lot of work to get to the wires to fix it.

I mean, its a nice touch and clean look but....... that fact you still have to turn the key.....

It can be wired were the key will still start the car, you just tap the green wire on the ignition instead of cutting it.

If you look at the S2000, it's the same setup.

You have to turn the key and push the button.

I have mine set up that way, too. Even if the button malfunctions, I'm still far from stranded.

It's just a cosmetic upgrade, really.

The button was like 40 bucks (I work for Honda) and building the wire was cheap as could be.

I wish I had patented the idea for the S2000 button, I made 50Resto a lot of money! I posted the how-to on The Mustang Source back in early early 05 and 3 months later the kits started showing up in the magazines. assholes!

thats a lot of work to do the same thing as turning the key does. LOL

Looks nice though
Really cool, something I want, but that statement is true. If I bought it I would want someone to do it for me to eliminate the :angry1:feeling.

S2000 for myself as well. I'm glad I did it because my damn Ebay cheap Ford Fusion key blade is starting to spin within the FOB.

Well if you live in Houston, and are willing to install one of these, feel free to pm me and suggest a price. I hate working with electrical/dashboards. Ill stick to just engine parts! Cant even do that nowadays with all the electrical parts...

I used to be the same way as you. Just deal with it more, experiment more, you'll start to understand it. :thumb:

My problem isnt so much understanding, its that I get too overwhelmed. So many little things here and there. I was comfortable doing it in my fox, but I would hate to tear down the 06. That and I'm not patient enough to step back and do it right. Thats why my brother and dad are the main mechanics in the family, I just help and learn.
