Just seen a commercial for the Mothers headlight power-ball restoration kit and was curious if anyone used it? I used the clay bar kit from Mothers and LOVED it so i was hoping for the same thing with this product.

i havent tried it out, but i used a cheaper alternative method which requires sanding your haedlights just like those headlight restoration kits. Total cost came out to $12

I used PlastX on a set of Taurus headlights. Did it by hand and the results were great, but it took a couple hours and I was worn out. Get the Mothers kit unless you need the exercise.

i know the sanding works great. i got a buddy that has done it. I dont have yellow headlights, more of a scratchy semi-cloudy look to em. Would polish do the job or go all out for the sanding?

Just buy the kit. harbour frieght has one on sale for $8.99.
Auto Zone had one on sale last week for $12.99.
The kits have all that is needed to do 2 head light.
And it's very easy to use.
