Help me plan my attack on P0443, P0446 and others

Ok on and off for the past year my 2005 GT has suffered from the periodic combination of P0443, P0446’s and other times a combination of Evap system small leak detected, large leak detected and check gas cap.

So I’m fabricating a smoke device out of a paint can, Incense and some hoses to help locate any leaks if they exist.

I need help figuring out how to go about implementing this smoke machine, should I hook up the smoke outlet hose to the evap purge valve outlet tip, inlet hose that leads to the charcoal canister...? I don’t really know where to start.

I would start by checking for loose or cracked hoses using a bright flashlight and the car either on a lift or as far up in the air as I could get it on jack stands.

I hooked the smoke up to the brake booster hose on my F150. Found a pinhole in the top of the fuel tank.
