got a JLT intake off craigslist, have a tuner also. Installed the intake but the hose running from the stock intake to the valve cover is too short for the JLT. What do I do? What does the hose do?

Thanks

Get in touch with a JLT vendor and see if they can sell you just the hose

Or u can plug the inlet on the jlt and put a vent on the valve cover. But u can find all the parts u need at the auto store, be it plugs, seals, longer hose, hose clamps.

2 feet of hose, 2 hose clamps and $4.50 later, im running good! problem solved!! thank you everyone for your input. $75 for a JLT, $225 for an SCT sf3 tuner. not bad.......

right now its the the preloaded 93 octane tune that came with the tuner that I bought from another member of the forum. I definitely want a custom tune from someone be it Bama, brenspeed, BBR. but im gonna hold off on that incase I get LT's or anything else that will require a different tune.
