well, its happening again! almost all the time.

light throttle, cruising, WOT, no matter what it would be jittery, cutting out, etc.

remembered my diablosport datalogs.......i saw my fuel pressure read "6psi"

its fine at times, at idle, etc. - during normal accel it gets down in the mid-high 20s, under real load it tanks.

SO time to mess with the fuel pump again. i have no external leaks, no starting issues, etc. so it has to either be a dead 255, lines leaking inside the tank (i am almsot certain this is the issue) or FPDM freaking out.

questions - i plan on running 8ga wire to the FPDM with a relay. is there a way to run dual FPDMs (to lighten the load on them) without getting a new tune? parallel them together? i have seen plenty of info, but some conflicting in regards to this.

wiring inside the tank - IIRC the kit used those crappy add-on wire taps that crimp around an existing wire. that needs to go. was considering fixing the stock wiring, drilling a hole for the 255 pumps wires to come through the fuel hat, and connecting them outside of the tank.

if the 255 did die, i prefuse its jsut a rebranded walbro?

figured it out.

flimsy hoses that vortech uses in the tank - one of them popped a leak. replaced with gates 30R10, and the lowest i saw it go was 35psi on tip-in.

another note - previouslty, my FP% was stuck at 50, all the time. now i can watch it actually change, which is nice.

still going to upgrade to 8ga wire to FPDM next week.

not sure if i have a pump thats dead/dying, or my FPDM is shot, but it seems to max out at 50% - i assume thats "normal" for these (according to my google-fu)

seems to me that my 255 probably died.
