A friend of mine from the track was telling me the other night about the first time he put his race car in his new enclosed trailer. He had brand new open headers on it, fresh from the ceramic coater's shop. Easing the car off the trailer, the end of the header caught the lip on the back of the trailer and buckled the header. He figured it wasn't too bad and could get it straightened out but all four header pipes were mangled. After that he kept a set of ramps in the truck so he could pull the back of the truck up on the ramps and get a softer angle on the trailer ramp when unloading.
