Yea I believe ill be going rst. It's not that I can't afford it, its just 700-800 for a clutch is a little steep for me but if its worth it than ill bite the bullet.
If you are down my way again, let me know. You can drive mine with the Exedy Mach 500 and see what you think. The pedal is only slightly stiffer than stock. It also engages very smooth with no chatter. I think it would also be a good choice at your power level. I am thoroughly satisfied with it.

I am also planning a new short block in the near future. I am expecting to be around 550 - 575rwhp and no more than 550rwtq. I am hoping the Mach 500 will be OK at that level. It's rated at 550rwtq. If it doesn't hold, then I will step up to the RST at that time. If you are planning some real serious power, (over 600rwhp), then I agree, you should go ahead with the Mcleod.

With my Whipple and 3650 I had a Spec 3+ and Fidanza AL flywheel. Took awhile to get used to on the street it was grabby. At the strip it was perfect. I put over 10k miles on that setup and probably 50 1/4 miles passes without an issue.
