Hood scoop delete

Off goes the hood scoop. I now need to fill the holes and get it painted. Winter project - stay tuned...

Progress - removed the hood and epoxied 6061 aluminum bar stock (1/16") on the bottom side of the holes and then prepped the top side for body work and paint. One of the holes was not accessible from the back so I drilled a 3/4" access hole and covered that back up as well (bottom center below). That's now sent off to a body shop. The holes for the washer nozzles are staying put.

Back from paint and tucked away in the garage for the rest of the winter.
