I had a lot of those same issues at first, they kind of just went away. I guess it took a while for the computer to learn. RPMs do still drop to around 500 when I come to a stop light, but it pretty much recovers right away now, previously it would die if I didn't keep on the gas a bit. Also, at first I had to give it some gas to start the car and now it fires right up.

Kinda sounds like what is going on with mine. Bbr said the computer will learn but once it started to get better the weather went from crazy hot to 65/70 degrees my car didn't want to run at all.

Mine didn't have to go through no "issues" to learn. Thru the cams in, tossed in the tune, drives like it's supposed to.

Be persistent. It definitely sounds tune related

Me too. I let it idle for 30sec AC on then 30sec AC off. I've got no surging, bucking idle hunting.

Asking bbr for a new tune I can't stand it no longer. How can my car learn idle strategy if it dies every time I stop? It's making my car un-relaible and no very safe to drive.

Bbr sent me a new tune, I let it run for 20 min no ac then 20 min with ac. I took it for a spin did fine but on the way back acted up it surged some, it didn't die though. I haven't had it running to long see what it does in the morning. I want it to run like it was stock no issues but with a good sound. If this doesn't cure it. I am putting it on a dyno. Anyone know good dyno tuners in or near ky?

This day and age you shouldn't need a dyno tune for cams. I'd call VMP and get a tune from Justin. I have FRPP cams with a blower and it idles better than it did N/A with a dyno tune. I think somewhere in the tune he tunes the idle to step down when coming to a stop. This way it doesn't go from 1800 rpms to 750 rpms in an instant when coming to a stop. If any of that makes sense. Anyway mine hasn't died once with his tune. Before it would occasionally die when coming to a stop and often surge. It doesn't do any of that now and the PCM never had to learn anything.

That's cheaper than a dynotune, AND I believe the $150 enrolls you in the "Tunes for Life" program which is unbeatable IMO. ANY changes you make to your car as many times as you want to, just call them up and a new tune is in your email box.

Can't beat that with a stick!!!!!:beerchug2:

Uh, not to mention Chris Rose is available when you feel like datalogging and he will review your log and tweak or whatever it needs all included in the $150.

Just do it. You have no idea how many other tunes from elsewhere I tossed in the Recycle Bin before I found Chris. lol

Thought you could only utilize tunes for life if you bought your mods from them or American muscle?

I would thought BBR would step in and get this right
But like others said, I'd go for BAMA tune. Their customer service is top notch when it comes to tune.

I have been in touch with bbr they are looking everything over to see what went wrong, they sent me a new tune today loaded it up and I will see what does tomorrow morning. They are trying to make it right. They arent avoiding me by any means. Hopefully they can fix it.

Datalog the car and send them the log. Ask BBR what parameters they want you to monitor and set them up in your datalog via Livelink.

It's extremely easy and no reason why you shouldn't. The culprit will likely rear it's head in the datalog session under driving conditions.
