How do you clean rubber from a burnout ?

Brake cleaner works well, but wash it off immediately with soap and water. Spray some pam on your fenders next time!

i usually just rub my hand over it the next morning once its dried on and it comes off pretty easy... then clean it up with a spray detailer.

I spray a little WD-40 on the panels before racing. At the end of the day I hit it with a power hose and it comes right off.

I spray Wd-40 before and Wash off easily when I get home. I also use McGuires detail spray after that.

I spray the panels with Turtle Wax Ice, leave it on without any buffing etc, and it just washes off.

hint for next time... pull clear sandwich wrap over the rear bumper where rubber would get flung... then you can just peel it off when you're done.

Soem good bug and tar does the job pretty good. To stop it just use the blue painters tape, it works very well and just pulls right off.

For the first time ever I have some really hard rubber to get off. It's always come off relatively easy so I'm going to have to try the WD40 trick.

or you can just buy a stock rear bumper from someone and use it as a track only bumper

then just swap out your daily driven bumper when you get home

I have a 3D Carbon body kit. So it's not the stock bumper at all.
And as i have a Sonic Blue chances of getting a bumper of the right color are pretty small.

BUY SPLASH GUARDS! $8 for a set ($40 for the molded set) and I haven't had to clean a spec of rubber since!

I have previosly used Brake Clean, which of all the solutions seems to have worked the best.

Oils like PAM and WD-40 being left on the paint for hours is much worse for your paint than break clean for a few minutes.

I use extra wide painters tape. Looks like crap but easy on and off
