How much boost out of a whipple

But what if there was nothing stock about your motor? Just curious, but with a 302 forged shortblock, and comp beehive high load valve springs, these motors can spin 7500+rpms right? Don't murder me for asking, just trying to see your point.

Let me put it this way, I'm sure it could be done but at what cost? Street-abilitly is out of the door, you constantly run the chance of a blown block/broken suspension parts/broken transmission parts at the insane power levels it would produce, always having to run race gas etc etc.

I don't get what you're saying as far as utilizing snouts. If the lower intake on a roush would bolt right up, all that would have to be fabricated is pulleys to make them all line up right?

Look at a Whipple for the 3v and look ant one for the 4v GT500. The ones for our 3v's use snouts with the pulley on the end of them. The ones for the 4v's have the pulley mounted to the blower itself, no snout. So inturn, i dont think the GT500 specific blowers will line up with the 3v crank/accessory pullies.

You would need the snout off of the 2.3 on the 3.4. It has been done. But a pain.

OP Many Termi owners run the 2.3 whipple up to around 18-20lbs of boost on pump gas and some to 23-24 with race fuel and meth (alot of heat at that boost). However, they have a better designed inlet elbow than ours (which for some reason turns 180 degrees). Many have seen ours stop gaining power at about 16lbs of boost because of that, and real gains were only seen past that with a custom fabbed inlet.

Yea one or two guys on here have ran the 3.4 with the addition of a 2.3 snout, but i did hear it was a pain to do.
