I got a gt500 functional ram air hood with the scoops and vents and I want to paint the vents and insides of the scoops black the rest performance white like my car and the roof of the car black, how much should I be paying for a job well done not a maaco jojob

This question makes no sense. How much should you pay??? What ever anyone says is irrevelant, get a quote from the paintshop and that will be your answer.

i have a quote i was just wondering whats a decent price because i didnt want to overpay so the question thus makes perfect sense.. for example if the current quote were 1500 but everyone says that the local shops that do good work quote something like this at around 500 then i wouldnt want to overpay.. the current quote im getting is 650

$400-$1500. Depends on how much prep work is needed and the shop doing the work. Really nothing that you can determine by posting a thread.

Well then this will blow your mind, I can get my painting done for free. So I guess that means your overpaying....

So what if someone says thats not a decent price or not, thats what you were quoted so thats what its gonna cost...

best bet is to yelp or get some reviews of paint shops near you.. call and ask for the quote imo..

weigh out your options then you can decide from there or get a ball park idea..

Do yourself a favor and shop around... prices are going to vary depending on demographic. You can't base what you should pay in Jersey off of the quote I get in NC.
