anyone have good directions to change the pulley on a Saleen Series VI supercharger. Now mind you, I did not install my supercharger and I dont want to F it up..so if it is difficult, then just tell me like the Saleen install instructions STOP.....LOL ..... no seriously, is it pretty easy...what tools DO I HAVE TO HAVE or should have to make it a painless and efficient pulley and belt swap?? suggestions etc....also, when I switch from my 3.6 pulley to the 3.4 pulley,. will my car be ok to drive to go down a highway about 70 miles to my tuner? He dyno tuned the 3.6, just wanted to check if it would be ok?? thanks guys

Take the belt loose, remove the alternator, remove the 4 bolts from the pulley. Replace the pulley, step back, drink a beer and draw yourself a "map" of the belt route, remove the belt, replace the belt, put the alternator back on, then put the belt on the pulleys. yup, kind of a pain in the ass. Saleen hit it out of the park with their SC, but screwed the pooch on the belt routing design because of the alternator.

As for the tune, you shouldn't have any problem going from the 3.6 to the 3.4. Your tuner probably gave you a safe enough tune that I doubt that he will make but very small ( if any real ) changes to your tune for the difference in pulley size.

3/4" drive ratchet or breaker bar in to the square hole on the belt tensioner.

Yes the KB is much easier to change the pully on. That being said I got my Saleen SC off of ebay for $2400, brand new, how much did you pay for your KB?

WOW....so with the KB once you remove the pulley, you dont even need to replace it cool...so the belt is reinstalled on the bolt.you must get like 30psi with that tiny bolt holding the belt...cool..is that why KB's slip allot...just curious....(SARCASM OF COURSE SINCE YOU OBVIOUSLY FORGOT A STEP)..TJ

Mat gas, throw old belt off, buy another one for $100 from KB, stop by the Ford dealer, buy another tensioner, replace belt, repeat as necessary! hehe

who needs the pulley? haha

we didnt need to change the blower displacement size. we needed to change the inlet system. pop the KB inlet system on a saleen and you lose all your efficiency i guarantee it
