I am having a hard time finding 3 inch studs for the front!!

I found the right size studs for the rear wheels, but for the front I am having a hard time. So far it looks like I have to drill to put them in. Do you guys now the right size for the front.

You are going to have to drill the front Hub out to accept the 3" studs. The knurl is 0.500 and the factory hole is 0.325.

Dril them out, it's not as hard as it seems. Use a drill press or take care doing them with a Drill while still on the car.

Let me know if you need some help, and I stock the 3" studs for these types of deals. We just finished doing this to my silver car for the front runners.

Eduardo, I used these for my fronts: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MOR-46185&N=0&autoview=sku I had a machine shop drill them out for me. I tried to drill them myself, but all I did was burn up an expensive bit. Also, if you pull the hubs, you will need new retainer nuts and grease caps... they are single use items. See attachment.

Oh yea, one more thing. If you plan on using wheels with shank-type lug nuts, you have to be absolutely certain that the studs remain on center, and are perpendicular to the hub face. Even being a few thousandths of an inch off, will prevent you from getting the wheel on. Trust me on this one...

Just wait a few more days. Morosso now has a set that require no modification/drilling at all. Adam just ordered a few sets and they are supposed to be here early this week. I'll give part #'s early this week.

Chevykiller, That's good to know. I've been on the fence about going to the 3" studs for the rear. I just didn't feel like doing any drilling to put studs on when i'm only going to run the weld wheels a few times a year.

Like Don said, I drilled my own and used a stack of 1/2" ID washers to keep them centered when I sucked them in with the impact. It really wasn't that hard but I sure wish Moroso had the no drill studs at the time.

I think lostsoul has a 3 inch stud upfront, however, that may only be a rumor. You would have to check with him directly.

Just got off the phone with Adam, and these new studs are something he is trying out. He does not know if they are drill-less studs yet.
