Have you thought of Pro-Dyno in Fort Mill SC (just south of Charlotte) I know it is a hall from Jacksonville but I have a friend who swears by them and he drives up from Columbia SC. I plan on using them when I add a Paxton, they are about 2 hours from me.

Pro dyno tuned my car last, Dan is a great guy and seems to know his stuff!

I'd recommend them any day. I believe amazon tuning merged with boosted performance in mooresville also, but I don't know muh about em

FastLane are pretty busy most of the time. They did a good job with my car and i was happy with the results. you might have to call them a few times or leave them a message but they will get back to you. Sad they couldnt get you the tune you wanted or fit you in but like i said they are usually busy around this time of the year. You should try Brenspeed if you havent tried Lito already.
I don't have a dog in this hunt, but that's pretty crappy customer service if you have to call a company repeatedly just because they're busy. My local shop is constantly busy, but the owner always has time to discuss my plans when it comes to my car. Furthermore, they are willing to stay late and work around most peoples' schedules.

The problem I find with a lot of shops is that they tend to have a lot of favoritism toward their buddies and if you're not in their inner circle, they don't really care too much about you.

Thats the thing...they sponsor our local Mustang club. And STILL this shitty service. Whatever, I'm over it.

There's another shop here that has EXCELLENT customer service, its just they're more of a ricer shop. They did some work on my car for a LOT less than the other major shop in Jacksonville, and it was good quality work. East Coast Performance in Jacksonville. I HIGHLY recommend them. Fair price, quality work, and QUICK turn around! (had my car back to me the SAME DAY for a cam install! and only charged $350!)

working with Lito as we speak. 2 tunes down, and already she's running better than Fastlane EVER had her running! FP duty cycles are down where they should be, she idles with the the a/c on without problems, and she doesn't wanna cut out when I let off the throttle.

And we're just datalogging. Haven't even gone on the dyno yet. How does that make you feel Fastlane, knowing a guy in ANOTHER COUNTRY is kicking your asses all over the place......through nothing but EMAIL.

It's a big difference using a real tuner vs a value file clicker. How does it feel to have driveability back, lol.

Omg, its amazing!! And we haven't even put her on the dyno yet.

He noticed my IATs were a little high, and so I went to work on the intercooler. Turns out I hit a curb a while ago and severed the wires. No damage to the car, jut cut the wires. In order to continue on our way, I dremeled the adaptor to expose the wires, soldered the shit out of them, and re-installed. It works...it ain't pretty, but it works. Im gonna call Saleen on Monday and see about ordering the wire that powers the IC pump.

I also installed the single 405 Walbro in like 10 minutes lol. Proud of myself for all the work I've done, alone, this last week: Installed GT500 TB (3-4 hours of drilling and lining up since BBR didn't give me a template), installed the JLT 3, including extending the vacuum line off the cylinder head so it reached the intake tubing, put the fuel hat in, fixed the IC temporarily...learned to datalog on a computer. I'm learning a lot! lol

Now, hopefully on Monday I can get the car on a dyno and do some pulls with an A/F ratio and all for Lito. Then at least I can drive the car a couple days before I have to cover her up and put her away while I heal.

Thats good that lito was able to get you running for now till you get your dyno tune. Thats the first i heard of fastlane acting like that but it happens. And yea if your not in the inner circle of friends then your not going to get your stuff taken care of thats everywhere you go. Good luck

I'm working with Lito right now with some datalogging. His throttle response is a lot faster than my other tune. Next up is WOT datalogging.

Yea, his throttle response is a lot better, however, its hanging right now. He says its just because there's too much air. I'm sure we'll figure it out when I have an A/F reading.

I'm going downstairs here in a minute to start her up and see if she takes forever to get "driveable" like my old Fastlane tune did.

The piece of mind of knowing I have a 6,000$ motor and a PROPER, PROFESSIONAL tune is going to be AWE-SOME!

OP; sorry to see you had such bad luck, but glad to see it's working out. I'm a little surprised, though, because I've never had Taylor drop a ball on me. He usually gives me both the day and date to avoid any mishaps. Anyway, I'm sure you'll have that GT up and running good in no time! Lito is one of the good ones.

Can't stand it when shops play favorites. Luckily in my case, there was another local shop that got to me fast because I was a "repeat customer" (I hadn't been there in 3 years). Some places just put the customer first no matter what. Once you find a shop like that, don't change for anything.

Thats one reason I can't wait to get back to South Florida to deal with the shops down there. My best friend works at the fab shop I goto (they do pretty much everything) and Blow By is 45 minutes away and Steve and Chris have bent over backwards to take care of me!

Rasmus: Taylor definetly dropped it on me. And then tried to make it look like I was wrong. I KNOW 100% for sure that he said Thursday. I even told him "let me write it down" and made him hold, and then read back what I was writing (said it aloud) so I KNOW my date/time was right.

Glad your getting taken care of, LITO is the MAN! I know how you feel with some shops with great reps too. It doesn't matter how great the work you do is or how great your rep is, if you don't ever return calls like you say you will or work a time in for me, I am not going to wait forever on a shop. There is a well known shop near where I am stationed now that has made it more then clear to me by not returning calls and string me along for months that they don't want my business, so I found a different shop that can do what I can't and the rest I'll do myself.
