I took my 10 year old grandson to the Indianapolis Speedway Museum today , his first ride in the Mustang . On the way home he says papaw do you think you'll be tired of this car in 6 years , I said maybe , do you want it and he said oh yes .
So I figure no matter what else is going on in my life I'm doing right by him and nothing else matters . Who knows maybe he will get it

I've had the same thoughts about my grandson but he's only 18 months old right now. If you lay out some toys for him though, he goes straight for the red cars!

I've been toying with the idea of selling mine lately. My 8 year old daughter is PISSED! Says that car is hers and I am NOT allowed to sell it. lol

It's amazing how cars can bring family together. My 17 year old son and I connected working on my '05 GT together, so we got him a GTI, and now we AutoX together. He goes to HPDEs with me as my pit crew.

Yes, the Mustang will be his someday, and he knows it.

My son is graduating from college in a month and his buddy has a Subaru WRX. I have converted him, he brought the WRX to my house as I help him with maintenance and I said lets go for a ride in the Mustang. He is one of those that said "why would anyone want that old school American crap". Well long tube headers, offroad H and FR500 mufflers screaming as we spun through second and into third he was an instant believer. He was just laughing saying "this is the coolest car I have ever been in. It sounds SO good."
